There are two types of standard reports in Attaché – reports generated via the standard task screens and Report Viewer reports. Accessed the usual way via the desktop menus, reports displayed in Report Viewer have a broad range of parameter and filter functions that let you tailor the report without the need to create a Custom Report

Report Viewer reports have a toolbar at the top to let you print, save, search, navigate and export in a variety of formats. See Report Viewer toolbar functions.  

The parameters to select data ranges and sequences are located in a left-hand pane of the screen with an extensive range of functions including a Filter Editor to let you tailor the data to display for each parameter. See Report Viewer parameters functions.

Report Viewer reports display in a new window independent of the desktop application. They can be easily moved between monitors and resized, minimised and maximised to suit. For the full list of reports, see List of Report Viewer reports.

Help for each report can be accessed by pressing the F1 key on your keyboard.  

Tip: For reports that have summary and detailed versions, the summary reports run much faster and should be used unless additional details are required.

Many of the Report Viewer reports have classic-style report counterparts, often identified as (Old) in the report title. You can typically find these superseded reports on the Old Reports menu for the relevant module, for example, General Ledger | Reports | Old Reports | Trial BalanceFor Help with classic-style reports, see Producing reports.
