<< Previous - Connecting to Attaché Online

With your payroll company data now flowing through to your online organisation, you should now complete the STP and Employee Portal setups in Attaché Online.

The tasks assume you will be using both Single Touch Payroll and Employee Portal, however, if you are pressed for time (or do not want to use Employee Portal), you may prefer to leave Employee Portal tasks for a later date and focus only on STP.

Complete each of the tasks under the Settings menu in your online organisation. Each menu item is described below. 


Organisation Details (optional for Employee Portal)

Organisation Details are for Employee Portal and not related to STP.

Super Fund (required for Employee Onboarding)

Super Fund details are required for Employee Onboarding but are not related to STP.

System Settings (recommended for Employee Portal)

System Settings are not related to STP, however, it is important that you check these settings to ensure employee privacy.

Site Logo & Title (optional for Employee Portal)

Site Logo & Title are optional for Employee Portal and not related to STP.

Colour Scheme (optional for Employee Portal)

Colour Scheme is optional for Employee Portal and not related to STP.

Admin Users (recommended for STP and Employee Portal)

Admin Users are optional for Employee Portal but are necessary if you wish to allow others to carry out administrator functions in your organisation and/or submit STP batches to the ATO,

Standard Business Reporting (required for STP)

Standard Business Reporting (connecting to the ATO) is required for STP.

Teams – setting up your organisation chart (required for Employee Portal Org Chart) 

Teams is required if you intend to use the Org Chart in Employee Portal. It is not related to STP.

Inviting your employees to your organisation (recommended for STP and Employee Portal)

For STP, you only need to invite employees whom you wish to carry out administrator functions (Admin Users) and/or submit STP batches to the ATO (STP Users).

Summary

Now that you have completed your STP and Employee Portal setups, you’re ready to turn on Single Touch Payroll in your payroll company so you can commence STP reporting.
